The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited is an MMORPG developed by Bethesda Softworks and is the remastered version of The Elder Scrolls Online. The game is set on the continent of Tamriel, long before the events of offline titles. This game marks the first multiplayer installment in the series that has switched from the subscription model to buy-to-play monetization.
The game follows the traditional franchise storyline, starting with the player being imprisoned and then escaping to search for the soul that was stolen from them. The game features nonlinear gameplay with multiple side quests, allowing players to roam freely around the world. The plot is indirectly connected to previous TES titles, such as Morrowind and Skyrim.
The Elder Scrolls Online provides the same gaming experience as offline titles, but this time it can be shared with friends. The game allows players to customize their character by choosing from ten races and five classes, and developing different skills and abilities.
